I want to wear my hair in an updo, but I want to wear a blusher too. But I haven't seen any brides wear an updo and a blusher. Can this be done? I would like to wear the veil behind the updo like the picture so that I can show off my hair, but at the same time, I want to have my face covered in the church. Can this be done? If so, can you please show me pictures. PS: Do you think a silk tulle veil is better for this type of style because of the way it falls?
Honestly, I think it might look a little strange with the blusher part of the veil coming from way in the back of your veil over your head...
Can you play around and see if it might work?
Can you have the veil on top of your head for the ceremony and then move it to the back for the reception?

I had the same questions......hopefully somebody will know the answer or have pics!!! I'm having a cathedral, a fingertip, and a blusher----where they are all going to go is beyond me!! But, I want them below my hair/ up-do (like you said)---don't want a big poofy thing on top of my head. Let's see what kind of answers you get......

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do hair trails until like the 4 days before my wedding (if I am lucky), so I really won't be able to play around.
I was thinking about that too! Maybe I can move it, but I don't know how complicated that would be!

I have seen it done and it looks fine. Just make sure it's long enough depending on how high your updo is....

I ordered my veil from Barrons in Tri County and She is making the blusher on a seperate comb so I can place it where I want. When she measured what the length should be she measured it as if I would place it under my hair but then I can take it off later and just wear my fingertip length veil

What you can do is add a your blusher with velcro inside the front of the headpiece and remove it after the ceremony

If I do that wouldn't the bun part of the hair be exposed?
