veil crystals
I heard that if you have crystals on your veil they have to actually be crystals (as opposed to what I have no idea) or they come out black in photos. Is this true or a wedding myth?

I don't know, but I have never seen black spots in any wedding pictures
I know, I feel the same way but someone I know heard this so now I feel the need to be sure before I purchase a veil!
They shouldn't have the black backing on them. Those are the ones more prone to showing up in pics as black if your veil isn't laying completely straight. Only seen that happen to one person though. Mine were crystals though but I think they had silver backs and were fine. I bought my veil at Bridal Reflections. They have a picture on their wall of the veil with black spots on it if you want to take a look.
Wow, that's good to know. I have never heard that before.
They have real crystals that you can add to Veils at Patchogue Floral Fantasyland. They are behind the counter in the tiara section.
