veil dilemas

veil dilemas

Ok girls I need some opinions. I want to wear my hair half up/half down and I want a fingertip length veil. Is it possible to remove the veil after the ceremony or will my hair most likely get messed up? I was thinking of possibley leaving the veil on the entire reception also so I dont risk that. I heard some places make 2 part veils too, where you can detach the veil from the comb after the ceremony and leave the comb in but I cant find anywhere thst does this. I just need adbice/opinions please.

I'm doing just that. Hair half up half down. And taking out my fingertip veil after the ceremony

Wedding is next Friday I can let I know how it goes.

I think you'll be fine taking it out. Honestly there's probably someone you invited that does/or did hair that could help lol I feel like there's one in every crowd. My sister took hers out with no problem. I haven't tried Baron's at Tri-County yet but judging from everyone's reviews it seems like they could make a detachable one.

I think you should be fine taking it off after the ceremony I know a lot of people that have done that.

I am wearing my hair half up, half down with a waterfall braid so I was having a lot of issues figuring out a veil as well. I went to Barrons in Tri-County and the guy working there knew exactly what I needed. Instead of a comb, they attach this long metal rod thing and it goes in and smoothly removes without pulling on anything. It should be perfect ... hopefully.

I think you'll be fine taking the veil out. I would just mention it to your hair person who should make it easy to do!

Your Hair Person will know how to put it in and instruct your MOH on how to take it out.

I'm doing the same half up half down and plan on taking out my veil after the ceremony.

Same with me, I'm doing my hair half up and half down with a finger tip veil. I am def taking it off after pictures and ceremony. Look at my pics to see my hair, the veil is going in the back.

Are you brides wearing your veil over your face when you walk down the aisle? I'm town. My mom really wants me to, but the seamstress says it's so old fashioned! I think I'm leaning towards doing it though.

THIS!!!! I am wearing my hair the same way and I was SO scared about the veil situation, but Barrons saved me!

The woman in the bridal store tried in on with and without the blusher (the part that goes over your face). I hated the way it looked and she told me most brides are choosing not to wear one. It's def old fashioned so sure when my mom finds out she won't be happy either, but it's my day so no blusher for me :)

Thanks @jlr5585 - I think I'll try it on once my dress is fitted and see how I feel. Dress should be ready next month! Eek!

No blusher for me, my veil goes down to my butt and it's circular, matches my dress perfectly and it's lace around the bottom, I love it, I got it at David's Bridal!
