veil down or up?

I have been to 3 weddings in the past 2 months 1 bride had her veil down when she walked down the aisle and the other 2 had it up while she was walking down the aisle.

And another thing 2 of them faced the priest to the church wall and the other one faced into the people which do you like better??

Help I am so confussed?

When will your FH lift it, in the beginning of the ceremony or right before the kiss?

I'm not sure yet. I haven't gotten my veil yet but when I tried them on with the veil in front I remember thinking this thing is so annoying, but I really like the way it looks in pictures.
If I do wear it in front my father will lift it.

Wearing it up the whole way down the aisle....I don't really care and my mom was dead set on me wearing it up, so I made my decision based on what would make her happy...What a good daughter I am

not wearing my veil down. . . not sure about where we'll be standing during the ceremony - I'll just do what the priest tells us to do at the rehearsal

Wore my veil down and Dad flipped it. We stood on the altar facing each other with the priest to my left and the congregation to my right. BUT we were like a mile apart. I would have liked to have been closer to each other.
