Veil Explanation needed please

Can someone explain the difference between a regular Tull Veil and English Net Veil or is there any other types? My dress is silk organza and I am trying to figure out which material would be more appropriate?

I have an organza gown, and regular tulle looks fine with it!

I'm not really sure what the difference is, but I think it may be that English net is embroidered....

There is also chiffon, which is heavier...but it's more opaque than organza so it may not look right.

Oh, and there is silk too, which is just amazing. Very smooth looking, but it doesn't have as much poof as tulle.

it's not really what goes with it, but more of what kind of look you are going for..

If you're going for a waterfall or a full look, I suggest going with the regular tulle..

if you want something flowy, I'd go with silk or english net..

I read wrong -- no stiffness. 'English net is very soft to the touch, and very fluid and flowy in it's drape. It is not as sheer (see-through) as bridal illusion because the fine strands that make up the net pattern are opaque rather than translucent.

English net has no body, no pouf, no stiffness. For lack of a better word, it is limp. Bridal illusion on the other hand is not limp. Even the highest quality illusion will have some stiffness to it, which it needs to provide the pouf and fullness that many want in a veil.'

English net is tulle but it's woven from cotten and the holes are hexagonal. Because of this it drapes differently and is a bit more sheer than bridal illusion tulle.

I think either would be fine with a silk organza dress. They were both pretty flowy.

actually, english net is lighter than regular tulle... it's not as stiff whatsoever.. It's actually considered a type of lace in alot of fabric stores..
