Trying to decide what kind of veil for my gown (below). I don't think I want a blusher, and I'm thinking short (elbow/fingertip) makes the most sense b/c the train is so pretty, but then I love the look of pictures with a cathedral length veil flowing in the wind.....thinking something like s silk tulle or english net would be best....thoughts?

Your dress is stunning! I think fingertip or elbow would be nice! But, I'm sure anything will look lovely with that dress!

I also agree- fingertip or elbow length.

I would do a fingertip, nothing longer. You don't want to cover up the gorgeous detail on the back/bottom of your dress! It is beautiful!

WOW , stunning dress. That looks like it has a antique look to it. I would have a long mantilla style veil with the back being simple just just detailed on the side

Re: Veil for this gown?
i was going to write cathedral untill i saw the BEAUTIFUL back of ur gown.....do NOT take away from it! (but of course its completely up to you ) but seriously... it's absolutely breathtaking. i'd go with fingertip.(love fingertip!) or elbow length. i think it still looks very formal, but it wont take away from ur gorgous gown. good luck! and congrats on a stunning dress!!!

Re: Veil for this gown?
Thank you everyone for telling me what I knew was right but just couldn't make the final decision! I really would like something that kind of echoes the look of the train, with all the gathers but really soft looking....has anyone seen anything like that? I think the silk tulle or english net center gathered is the closest to it so far....definitely no beading or anything for the veil, it would be too busy I think....!

Actually I tried that dress on before ordering mine. I really loved the back of the dress - just amazing. I would go simple because of the detail i think fingertip english net would be perfect.

The back of your gown is MAGNIFICENT. I would not cover any of it....especially the detail at the waste. No longer than the fingertip....elbow.
You will be georgous!!!

Thanks for all the help....I'm thinking like this, only maybe even shorter (still seems like it would cover a lot!)
