Veil Help!

I am looking into buying a cathedral length veil.
I already have a fingertip veil that is two tier and is plain, except for the fact that it has ivory ribbon all along the border that matches my ivory dress.
I will be keeping this veil on all day.

I wanted to buy a Cathedral length veil to go to the Church in and for some pictures.

What is a raw edge finish? Can anyone help me with this?

I have a one tier fingertip veil with crystals and pearls along the edge. I just ordered my cathedral veil from barrons and got a raw edge. It basically means that it is just plain tulle. Here are some pics to show you
