veil in back with blusher

I was wondering if anyone was wearing their veil at the back of their head, an also having a blusher? Is this possible, or will it look really stupid?

I was supposed to, and it would have looked great..if I actually remembered to do it at my ceremony! I completely forgot to put the blusher over my face, and walked down the aisle with my blusher, my fingertip veil, and my cathedral length veil all hanging from the back of my head! Duh!
Seriously though, I was worried about that too, cuz it wasn't my intention to have my veil at the back of my head...but my hairdresser thought it would look best, so that's what we went with. And it would have looked great, so don't worry. Just make sure the blusher has enough length to actually cover your face and fall on your chest, like it's supposed to. Tell the person who is making your veil how you are wearing your hair, and she will know what length blusher to give you. Good luck....

Did you have your blusher on a seperate comb than the veil in the back of your head? Any pics?

I had a blusher on a seperate comb, and at the last minute I decided not to use it. I was all caught up in the moment of being in the back of the church, waiting to walk down the aisle, and I didn't want anyoe fussing over me, I just wanted to do it! My photographer was so helpful, she just took the top layer of my veil and pulled it over my face, and viola! I had a blusher and it looked great!

I had a separate blusher on a comb, but it was impossible to put the comb in my hair without ruining my hair, so I borrowed my MOH's blusher and she pinned it into my headpiece. It worked out fine and looked good, and then I took it off in the limo after the church!
