My fingertip length veil has some detail on it and I love how it would look draped in front of my shoulders when I walk down the aisle (I am wearing a strapless dress and plan on wearing my veil over my updo for the ceremony).

I was told by one woman at a bridal shop that veils should never go in front of the bride's shoulders, which sounded odd to me. Other people at other bridal shops said they hadn't heard of this. Has anyone else heard this?

I've never heard of that. In fact, there are veils that are specifically cut to fall that way....like this center gathered veil...

Never heard that either. sounds very strange and quite the opposite of what I would've thought.
