Pics are in my album. I went for my first fitting a month ago and we got my veil. I kept saying I didnt want a long veil. I wanted it to be a bit longer than elbow length, but not exactly fingertip length. Basically, I wanted it to come to my hips. The woman in the bridal shop convinced me to get it fingertip length and she promised she could shorten it later if I wanted. I'm going back on February 9th to try everything on again and the more I look at the pics, the more I realize I really am not thrilled with the length. What do you girls think? Shorter? longer? leave it? I feel like it looks weird where it falls right now.... where should it sit do you think?

Re: Veil issue
I think it looks fine, but, it seems to me you already know what you want. You dont want to be thinking all day long that your veil is akward. No one should convince you otherwise. Get it the length you want!

Re: Veil issue
I would get it longer so that the top of the design on the veil begins at the waist. I don't even know if that's a real length so don't put too much weight on my opinion. I just think that this way you could show off teh design on the back of the dress as well as the design on the veil. The veil is very beautiful and so is your dress.

Re: Veil issue
I wouldn't have seen it unless you mentioned it, but yeah, I now see what you mean. I'd say get it shorter (elbow/waist length), but I'm not sure what that would do to the design in the back...

Re: Veil issue
first- that dress looks amazing on you! second-go with what you want....dont let the sales people convince you of anything else! they do these things all the time in know, but each bride is completely different and in the end you know what you want!

Re: Veil issue
You look amazing. I would have them shorten the veil, it almost hides some of the beauty of the dress where it falls.

Hey, Date Twin!
It looks like she was trying to get it to go to the bottom of the beading, and I think that looks nice. It's a natural place for the veil to end, unless you wanted to show off the beading, and then I'd go with elbow length. But I think it looks good.
