Keeping your veil on during cocktail hour and reception or taking it off?

I LOVE my veil, and I'm paying a lot for it. So I'd like to keep it on. But this topic has been posted before, and I know a lot of people couldn't wait to rip it off.

That being said, I'm doing a swing dance for the first dance...so I'm going to have to take it off and put it back on. I hope that won't be a problem

Honestly, I thought I would take it off at the reception, but I decided not to anymore. I tried on a bustled mantilla veil w/ crystals. It was gorgeous. Wouldn't wanna take it off at all.

im having a long cathedral veil so unless I wanna trip while I dance, its coming off.

I had a cathedral length veil and a blusher so for the reception I took off the cathedral and just left the blusher on.

I think I may keep it on during the CH hour but it's coming off before we enter in the reception. I have a hair flower that if it doesn't work with my veil I will be putting it in my hair after the veil comes off.

I would love to keep mine on since its gorgeous and expensive, but its a cathedral veil and I don't want to risk falling on my @$$ during my dancing...lol

i think im the only one but def off......im wearing the veil out of tradition but then off ASAP.....i did get my hair done afterall!

I had it on for about the first hour, it started to annoy me so i took it off
