how early do you recomend buying a veil/headpiece?

I'm afraid if I buy it too soon, it will turn yellow or tarnish.

I want to get my hair trial and book hair and make up vendors asap. but, at this point I think it's too early to buy my headpiece and veil. what do you girls think?

I just bought my veil the other day and I'm getting married in November. IMO, I think you should wait... because from now until then, you're going to see a TON of different headpieces/veils and if you buy now, you might find something else you like even better... unless you FALL in love with something, I would wait.

I would wait. Buy yourself a practice veil off e-bay for like $20 and do your trials with that. I ordered my veil too soon and ended up having to buy another at the last minute - very expensive!

I bought mine already. As long as you don't leave it in hot, muggy closet.

I bought mine already on a fluke. I just saw the both of them and HAD to have them. I put them both in dark bags and away from light so that they wont tarnish or turn yellow.

I agree, buy a practice one. I bought a practice veil and almost idetical practice tiara to use for trials. I didn't want to get my good ones all dirty with hairspray beforehand!! I bought them at a booth at tri county for $20. I got it so cheap because their was a slight irregularity to it, but I didn't care it was just a practice one!!
