Wow! Maybe the veil was specially made overseas?

I got my veil at Barron's and paid about $80 for it--a two layer elbow length veil with scalloped edges with beading.

Yeah... I got my veil at Kleinfelds and it's a simple veil for about $250.

Re: Veil Question

My veil was made in spain, is a cathedral length mantilla, and STILL only costs $300-ish.... $700 is VERY expensive.... but probably was made out of outrageously gorgeous silk tulle.

There is a huge price range for veils. You don't have to go ultra-inexpensive (about $25) if you don't want to spend $700. There are many intermediate priced veils of varying qaulity tulle (poly vs silk). I think most brides spend between $75-$200, with some spending much more, and some spending less.

I'd shop around at several salons before making a decision.....

That's insane. I got a catherdral veil, with pearl detailing along the edge, with a blusher for $250 at Ambiance for the Bride in the city, 1375 Bdwy.

Re: Veil Question

def go to Barrons.. my cousin got a veil and tiara for $110.. and her veil had a beaded trim..

tulle is tulle IMO.. i found that the silk tulle is too noticeable/white.. heavy.. hard to explain.. and the regular tulle was more sheer...

Re: Veil Question

It was probably a designer veil. I didn't purchase my veil at Barron's but I only paid $120 for mine. FM me for more info.

Go to Bridal Veil Falls, also in NYC.
It is on e. 7th street. I got 3 veils there....yup, 3. It is a veil designer....its all she does and she is amazing. She'll look at your dress, your face, have you try on several.....then she'll custom make you the veil of your dreams.
I got all 3 of mine, and a custom made tiara for under $300.

I'm looking for an ivory/champagne cathedral length with scattered crystals. How much do you think that will be?
