veil question...

veil question...

how many of you ladies kept your veil on the entire day (ceremony and reception)?

I'm not sure what to do. I think I'll leave it on during the reception, to enjoy the whole 'I'm a bride' feeling, but I'm not sure.

Thoughts? Thanks girls!

I took mine off and didn't do my portraits with it on. Trust me - you will fell like a bride all day - with or without the veil.

I wanted to keep mine on for the whole reception, but it kept getting snagged on my dress and half way through it actually tore! So I took it off but, in the grand scheme of themes, I was getting a head ache at that point and having one less thing on my head made it much better

I left mine on thru 2/3's of the reception, then I just took it off, all the pictures were done and I needed to put my hair up, so off the veil went!

I kept mine on all night long until I fell asleep! I was worried it would annoy me but it really didnt at all. I think its a personal choice~if you want to keep it on keep it on!

I took mine off mid way because everyone was tugging on it when they hugged me and it was getting caught on all my crystals... I think it is a personal preference

not married yet - but my plan is to leave it on as long as i can and take it off when it starts to annoy me - i am so afraid that when i take it out, my hair wiill go with it

i am planning on taking it off as soon as the ceremony is over.. i didnt want to wear one to begin with. i dont feel comfortable.

I wore a fingertip veil with a detachable cathedral. I wore both for the ceremony and formal pictures.

I took off the cathedral when I got to the RH.

I left the fingertip veil on allllll night until we got home! I was surprised that it didn't annoy me at all (I had planned on taking it off if it got annoying but didn't happen).

I kept my veil on the entire day (ceremony through the end of the reception). My feeling was that you are only a bride once so take advantage of that feeling!

meant to take mine off but it didnt bother me at all-was short and to the back soforgot about it. My dress was what was obnoxious lol. The bustle didnt hold right so drgged all over! >
