How do you make your veil not puffy?? I have a two tier fingertip veil and I want it to hang flat down my back. If I bring it to the dry cleaners and have it steamed will that help flatten it out??

I've been very specific about this from the start, and I didn't realize how to make it flat until i went to Tri County and spoke with the lady that makes them! They are basically poofy when they are shirred on the comb...if it is sewn on flush in a straight line with the comb, then it will lay flat. I hope that makes sense! When it's flat against the comb there's a lot less material. That's the look i'm going for as well!

yes if it it sewn on so that it is all gathered and bunched up together at the comb their is not flattening it down....what you were probobly looking for is whats called a drop veil...are you looking for the look thats in this pic???
