My ceremony and reception are in the same place. Would cathedral length be in-appropriate. I loved the cathedral veil, but would fingertip be more appropriate?

I plan on having two layers and keeping the shorter layer on for at least the first dance.

I am doing the same thing- reception and ceremony at the same place. I am getting both a catherdral length and a fingertip, too.
