Re: veil question
My MOH had a cathedral length veil and her dress did not have a very long train. I think if you love the way it looks then you should go with the cathedral length; it's really your decision.
If you do the pre-ceremony pics, then you can take the pics without the veil and then put it on for the ceremony and then take pics with the veil after the ceremony.

Re: veil question
these 'suggestions' are not set in stone, i think theyr just meant as a guideline when choosing a veil if ou have no idea which one, but if you tried a cathedral length and you loved it then get it chickie!!

Re: veil question
I personally love the cathedral veils. I actually purchased a cathedral length for my wedding!! Do what you love most don't listen to any article.

Re: veil question
ye Roz, do what u want and like. that article sounds very archaic to me. I have a long train and got a finger tip veil. who cares?
I am doing the pix before the ceremony as well, so I will not wear the veil for that (unless my mom will bug me too much - so gonna happen!) and then put it on just before the ceremony. Then take it off right after the ceremony.
