Veil Question

For those of you wearing your hair down, are you going to keep the veil on after the ceremony?

Meaning, when you are announced into the ballroom, will you be in your veil? I can't figure out which way to go...

A part of me feels like I should just take it off and be more relaxed, but another part of me feels like if I'm paying so much money for it, I should wear it a little longer than just the ceremony....

I was also wondering about this...because FMIL likes the veil to be worn the whole time, I'll prob compromise and wear it most of the night. Towards the end I'll remove it. I hope my hair doesn't get lost in all of the veil

I think I like Ali's idea...

Also, I will be wearing it for a majority of the pics that we take during the day time too, because it's important for me to get plenty of pics in my full ensemble lol.

I wouldn't do that. I think with a specific type of veil like a birdcage, no one expects you to wear it past the ceremony...

I took mine off before we were annouced. It kept getting caught on everything and I was all set with it at that point.

i'm doing this.

im taking my cathedral length off ..but im not sure when..either after cocktail or after the first dance....but ill be wearing my fingertip most likely the whole night...i kno im not gonna want to take it off hahah.

but most ppl do take their veil off after first dance from wat ive seen!
