Veil Question - with pictures

My veil just came! I have a quick question though -- how do I store it until the wedding? It is pretty wrinkled -- do I get it steamed? I should wait, right?

The Knot just answered this question...here's what they say:

Hang your veil up right away so that the entire length is hanging freely. Within a day or two the wrinkles will usually fall out on their own. If they're not completely gone, try hanging it in a steamy bathroom, or use a hair dryer on the lowest setting, holding it at least 12 inches away from the veil, and keeping it moving constantly so as not to overheat or scorch any one spot. Whatever you do, don't take an iron to it, as it may melt the delicate material. While you should be able to smooth out your veil on your own, if worse comes to worse you can always take it to a dry cleaner, who can press it properly within a day or so.

Here's a tip - don't put it in the closet in a plastic bag- One of my friends did this, and then her sister cleaned out the closet, and thought it was garbage and threw out the veil! They didn't realize this until the morning of the wedding and then had to go on a frantic emergency search for a veil!!
So make sure whatever you do, you put it in a CLEARLY marked bag!!

Beautiful veil! Good tip about the clearly marked bag. Hope she can laugh about it now, I'd be freaking if that was me! I love the pic with it hanging on the dead lock, I think that's an excellent place to store it until the wedding.
