Veil Questions-Above or below your updo...wearing all night long or not?
Hi Everyone! Below is a post of the type of veil I'm wearing, except it will have lace around the edges to match my dress. My question is do you think I should wear it above or below my updo.
Also, are you wearing your veil all night or just for the cereomony?

I think below the hair do if you have a heapiece. It's the only time you'll wear a veil why not keep at on all night as long as it's not chapel or cathedral. I plan on taking it off when i'm going to cut the cake.

I wore my veil under my up-do bc I didn't want that poofy look, but some brides like that!! I also left it in all night.

I had it below the updo-half up/half down
I took my veil off during the reception , I wish I didnt

I think it is usually below an updo, and above a 1/2 up do......

i plan to wear my veil with below my updo since i will have a nice, sparkling headpeice. i planned to wear it for the ceremony and pics but not all night.....i want to cut loose!

I'd have to see the do, but it depends on how it looks. Try it both ways. I intended doing a more half up half down do, but ended up with a more down do, and wore my veil just behind my tiara. I took it off after pics after the ceremony. Didn't walk into reception with it on.

mine was in the middle of my updo. It wasnt on top and not on the bottom

I think I am going to wear mine below... and then I will take my veil off after our first dance...
the saleslady at the bridal salon where i purchased my dress ~ her daughter just got married and i think it was the cake table that had tea lights but not sure of which table it was ~ anyhow to make a long story short her veil caught on fire... and her father saw it and started putting the fire out.... she was fine and did not get hurt ~ so with this being said I might be taking my veil off!
