Veil Restoration???

Does anyone know of any places that can restore an old veil? And also alter it a little?

My best friend is getting married next year and wants to use her mom's veil, but needs a few changes to it. And also wants it a little bit whiter.

Any ideas??

i think you can bring it to a bridal place and they can do it. I m borrowing my sisters and I want to shorten a little and have it pressed and cleaned. I am bringing it to Bridal Reflections where she bought it.

Originally when i was going to buy my dress from Priscilla of Boston - they were going to alter my mom's veil and steam clean it for me. Now I am getting ymdress made by a seamstress and she is going to do the same. I would ask the place you are getting your dress from- if you are nto comfortable doing that than ask your dry cleaner. My seamstress owns a dry cleaner- so if all fails for you - let me know and I'll give you my seamstress's #
