I think I saw this post before but, how many of you plan on wearing your veil during the reception?

i took mine off after the first dance. But i had a cathedral and a blusher. The cathedral i took off before i even walked into my RH, took it off right in front. It was flying in every direction and driving me nuts. Then i kept just the blusher one which was about elbow length but took that off after first dance

I ran short on picture time so my photog had to keep pulling us out of the reception for pics.... so veil stayed on WHOLE day

Right now my plan is to have 2 veils. A cathedral veil to wear for the ceremony and a fingertip one to wear the rest of the day. These will be 2 separate veils - not all together on one comb and not worn together.
However, after doing my hair trial, I realize I don't think I want to hide my hair behind a veil all day. So I'm kind of stuck about what to do.

I actually asked this same ? before my wedding. I ended up wearing it up until the first dance...then for a little bit after...then took it off. i only took it off b/c it was annoying me. But either way is going to work for you....so many people told me to leave it on, but I had it See how you do that day....you never know!!

I just looked at a bunch of my friend's wedding pictures online and it seems like all but one took it off. But I really like mine and kinda feel like wearing it. We'll see!!

I have a finger-tip veil, and I havne't fully decided what I want to do yet. I may end up taking it off just to be able to show off my hair more...ha... but I don't know yet.

I have a flower and bridcage.
I originally didn't want veil, my mother insited so the compramise is the birdcage. Its coming off right after ceremony.
