I have not gotten a headpiece because I originally did not want to wear one. Now I have 2.5 weeks and am worried now. I fear you might see the comb.
Anyone where a veil, but no headpiece? Any problems, suggestions? Thanks.

Re: veil...but no headpiece?
I did the same as you - and about a month ago, I was like I need a headpiece. What I did was go on ebay and I bought 2 - I got one for $16 and the other for $30. IMO, I think it looks nicer with the headpiece...but if there is anyone out there who did not have one and it worked out, let us know!

My sister did not wear a headpiece and she looked beautiful! When you get your hair done, I'm sure that they will be able to hide the comb.

I have a headpiece, but I think if you don't want one you certainlly don't need one. Your hairstylist should be easily able to hide the comb.

If you are getting your hair professionally done they will be able to hide the comb...
I did not wear a headpiece because my dress had some work on top and I thought it would be a bit too much with a piece, so I only wore a veil. I was very happy with the way I looked.

Re: veil...but no headpiece?
i didn't wear a tiara or have a fancy comb either. my dress was busy enough on top, in my opinion.
instead i had pins with pearls and rhinestones set in my hair. the comb was completely hidden.
From my hair trial because I didn't scan in wedding day ones yet:
