I bought my veil already, but it had to be special ordered so I don't have it yet. I don't think I'm going to have it for a while, either, but I want to have a hair trial soon with my veil so I can decide whether it would look better with an updo or a half up/half down hairdo.
Do you think any old sample veil that a hair stylist might have will be good enough?
Do you think that the place I bought my veil (same place I bought my dress AND BM dresses) will let me borrow the sample?

i dont think it could hurt to ask them at the store. but then again as long as you get a veil that is simpilar it should be ok. thats my opinion.

My veil was a custom order as well and it has already been 8 months and its still not in so my salon let me take the sample of my veil b/c it is a different style veil than your normal kind and I needed to see how my hair would look with my particular veil.
I would call your shop and ask. Macys let me do it but I had to bring it back in 24 hours after I picked it up

Thanks Jess!!! I would totally bring it back same day even. Mine is from Priscilla of Boston and I feel like they OWE ME this lol after the amount of business I've given them.
Did you have to leave your credit card or anything to get them to let you take it?

No, I think the fact that they have my gown and tiara and veil is enough collateral lol
