I ordered my dress from the Wedding Salon in Manhassett,, I haven't ordered my veil yet. Does anyone know if they have a nice/good collection to choose from? Should I be looking somewhere else also?
The only place that I know is where I got mine - Sosabella in Brooklyn. They custom make them veils and headpieces.
I got my dress from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset, and I just picked out my veil a few weeks ago. They had a great selection, and they can change any veil to be whatever you want it to be - length, add/remove crystals, etc. I would suggest looking there. Plus, then you can see how it will look with your dress.

If you want something fabulous (and who doesn't!!) try Denise Leli - she's a LIW vendor. Her advice is priceless and she is a pleasure to work with. I think she does trunk shows occasionally at Kleinfelds and Bridal Reflections but she does have a display somewhere in Brookville. Call her 631 862 1932 - you won't be sorry. My sister and my best friend both used her...I can't wait to get my dress (have to do some serious dieting first) so that I can then get my headpiece. I think the headpiece is more important than the dress because of the portrait type photos and all the close ups you end up putting in the album. Good luck!!
