So, I started looking and I feel like a total @$$ in a veil. Are flowers in my hair okay? How does everyone feel about veils? Am I the only freak who hates them?!

many people do not have them ......look around on the 06 threads to see pictures
i personally want one ...but its up to you
they have some really pretty hair clips that you can wear or even flowers or something

I'm not really into veils either, but as per my mother's request, I'm going to wear one just for the ceremony-- all 20 minutes of it! I just have to find a style I really like. For the reception, I'm going to wear crystal hairpins instead.

Haha, that's what I may do. I put them on in the store and I felt like such a tool! Ugh, we'll see!!!!!

i know this is an older post (and sorry to crash) but just wanted to say i HATE veils on me and Im not wearing one. Just wearing hair comb in the back w/ sides up hair style (in hair trial album). Youre not alone! I thought i was the only one too.

i don't think it's a must at all. i wasn't even going to wear one but when i went shopping they put one on me and i admit i sort of liked it - especially since my dress isn't 'traditional' bridal, it helped make it more so. do what ever you feel comfortable with!!
