veils

I was wondering where you girls got your veils... I am looking for a cathedral-length veil, but don't want to pay a fortune for it. I was going to origanally going to get it from Kleinfelds... but i really can't see myself paying lots of $$$ for something that I'm only going to wear for the ceremony and pictures...

I had my veil custom made from www.glamgal.com and it was A LOT cheaper than what my salon wanted to charge me. I got a chapel length ivory cage veil for $90.

I'm getting a custom made cathedral length veil in Chiffon from C&H in the city for $95.
Everywhere else wanted over $200

Fanastyland in Patchogue also has a great selection with good prices.

I got my veil at Tri County Flea Market from a woman named Yana. Her Prices were VERY reasonable for veil and head piece.

Bridal Styles on Avenue U in Brooklyn includes any length veil with their headpieces. They are usually in the 2-300 range.

I got mine at Kleinfelds, and they also threw in any length veil with the cost of my headpiece, but I definitely overpaid for mine. I couldn't help it, I fell in love!

If you're crafty, you can even make one yourself. My mom made mine and it was beautiful and very inexpensive.

C&H Bridal in NYC (40th between 7th and 8th). I got a great price on my veil and headpiece. My bridal shop (Bridal Couture) was insistant on me buying my veil there (they were high priced too...the even told me if I went elsewhere I wouldn't find a veil to match) but I didn't like their veils. I went to C&H and found the perfect cathedral veil for me!

I got my cathedral at david's bridal, I think it was about a hundred dollars, you could also check fantasy land or if you know any talors you can buy the tool which is so inexpensive and have someone make it for you. Good Luck!!

I got a 2 tier custom made veil, elbow length, a 9ft long cathedral veil scattered with pearls & rhinestones & a rhinestone headpiece and 5 diamond & pearl hairpins for $315.00 at C & H in Manahattan

the other girls are right, don't buy your veil from the bridal salon....i totally got $uckered into paying $300 for my veil...and another $300 for my tiara...i am almost emabarassed for this
