I need to find a decently priced veil. Know of any places? also I got quoted $90 for a hair trial and $70 for a make-up trial. Is this considered expensive?

For the veil - try Barron's at TriCounty in Nassau. They will hand make any kind you want and the prices are very good!
As for the trials, I only went to one hair trial and it was $30. I think $90 for a hair trial is expensive! I would make sure you had somewhere to go afterwards!

Yes and Yes. That's ridiculous when my makeup is only $80 for the day of.

ebay vendors have very good deals on veils. I got mine for $35.00. I also heard good things about Tri-County. I'm going there to look for a tiara/comb/hair pins.

I used Lisa. She was recommended to me. She does hair out of her house in Babylon. It was supposed to be $40 but my 'do' didn't take very long so she charged me $30. The day of would be $100 for me and $75 for girls. Let me know if you want contact info.
Barron's is in the TriCounty flea market on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. They are the first booth when you walk in the FRONT doors.
