So I am curious ... I am going to pick out a veil tomorrow after my hair trial.
Are you doing a blusher? I am leaning towards the traditional feel.
For those who are having trim/embellishments on your veil, are you doing the same on the blusher or having it plain?

I had a 2tier veil with pearls and swarovski crystals. There was a third teir for the blusher, which was removable and unembellished.

a two teir is just a veil with two levels of tulle . I have a 2 tier with a fingertip and detachable cathedral with swarovski crystal edging. I can use the fingertip veil as a blusher

i had work on the edges of my veil and the bottom and then just did a plain blusher that i took off after the ceremony

Im thinking of just doing a blusher (no other veil) or a birdcage. So i guess i am not being very traditional.
