Has anyone ordered a veil from ebay? I've seen ones I like that are under $30, while the one I tried on with my dress was $350!! What is the difference between these veils? They are both fingertip length, 2T, and have crystal beading on the edges. Are they really crappy tulle? And what about the ones at tri county? Are they more expensive than ebay? Are they better material? I don't really see myself wearing this veil more than for the ceremony and some pictures. Not even sure if I will wear it for the first dance. So why would I spend so much money on it?

Re: Veils from ebay or barons??
I highly recommend getting your veil from Barron's. Barron's will custom make your veil for you to your measurements and you can choose the color of tulle to make sure that your veil matches your gown perfectly (I brought a swatch of material from my gown to compare to the tulle). They are also very reasonable. I got a fingertip length veil for approximately $50-55.

I got my veil on Ebay...$14. It is 2t fingertip with scattered crystals. I think it looks great and felt just like the ones in the bridal salon.

I recommend Barons!!! They did such a great job on my veil making it to exactly what I wanted. I got my headpiece from them as well.

My Aunt plans on making mines:
I want a cathedral length with a blusher with bling on it. Excited about her doing it since it would be customized. But I couldnt imagine spending more than $100 on a veil and thats pushing it.

Can you negotiate w/ the bridal store that you got your dress in? I wasn't even sure if I was going to do a veil before because of their high cost, but I ended up negotiating a great deal w/ the store.

Re: Veils from ebay or barons??
I ordered my veil from Barron's because I wanted to see it in person before purchasing. I purchased the same veil that the bridal salon was going to charge me $350 for for $110. HTH!
