veils - where, what kind, & how much?

There are so many kinds of veils out there, I don't have any idea where to start! I saw a few when I went dress shopping 6 months ago, but I can't imagine spending $150-200+ on a piece of fabric I probably won't wear more than an hour or 2.

So ladies, share your veil recommendations please, including where you got it and how much it cost (if you don't mind). Feel free to share pics too! :)

I decided to go with a plain finger-tip length veil since my dress is very sparkly. Defintiely recommend going to Barron's in TriCounty. I got my veil for under $70. The one I originally wanted at the bridal salon was about $250.

I'm currently having an issue with this. I thought I had found a veil I liked when I bought my dress but now I don't like it anymore so I'm getting married in a week and don't have a veil.

I found one I love on ETSY so if they're willing to express ship it to me, I'm going to order it from there. I wanted a cathedral length veil with satin trim and I just can't find anything that's under $850 in the stores. I thought about making it myself, but let's be serious. I don't want to and I don't have the time. The one I found on Etsy is $200.

I went to barrons in tri county flea market! They have all kinds of veils and good prices.

Like almost everyone here Barron's is the place to go....I got 2 veils, a fingertip and a cathedral for $140.

My sister got one their too for like $60
