Veils with rhinestones- Do they mess up the pictures?

I havent picked out my exact dress yet but I love the Maggie Sottero dresses with the crystals and I want to have a veils with either scattered crystals or the trim in crystals. When I was at Davids Bridal, they said I would need a plain blusher to wear as I walk down the because the crystals will reflect in the pictures and look bad. Then supposedly my dad has to remove the blusher (comb and all) and put it in his pocket??? I would rather just wear the regular veil, were the Davids Bridal people just trying to sell me extra stuff, or do the crystals really make the pictures look bad?

When I picked out my veil I wanted scattered crystals also, the lady told me that they would only put the crystals on the bottom tier and not on the blusher. She said if I had the blusher over my face with the crystals that they will look like blemishes in pics. Hope that helps!!

I have a veil with rhinestones on all layers, but sicne I'm not wearing a blusher this wasn't a real issue for me. I definitely agree that if you are wearing a blusher, make sure it doesn't have rhinestones .. it will prob. look funny in pics

Nope -- that is big reason I got the rhinestones on all the layers. I decided against a blusher (or a layer over my face) because it just isn't important to me --

And for vanity reasons, I really like my veil the way it is ! LOL!

get crystals!! --- NOT RHINESTONES. I've heard that rhinestones come up as black dots in pictures.

don't wear rhinestones or crystals on the blusher- they both reflect light so they will look funny when the flash hits them.

I was told by my dress maker and photographer that rhinestone veils do not photo well, they turn out looking like black dots...sorry!!

I had swarovski crystals scattered all over my veil and to be honest, you couldn't even SEE them in the pictures

as a matter of fact, this is the only picture where you could sort of make out a little dot, and it wasn't black

I have them scattered on my veil and there are a ton near the comb....can't see any of them and they did not show up as black dots for me.

I guess...you mean walking down the aisle...with your dad..when, the camera...man is taking pic?

I am also looking for a veil...and I have been told to GET THE CRYSTALS..................

NOT RHINSTONE!!!!
