I paid $165 for cathedral veil with Swavorski crystals because I bought my tiara at the same place. It was at Bridal Styles in Brooklyn.

I brought pictures of my gown when I went looking. I got mine from Thomas Knoell and we took one of his tiaras and designed the crystals to accentuate the beading of my gown. If you have pics bring them. Otherwise describe the style of your gown and how you want to wear your hair and they should know what will give you the complete look.

matching the headpiece is easy - but be VERY careful when buying a veil. -
My cousin paid $$$$ for her gown, $$$$ for her headpiece, and got a veil for $50 in the flea market -
The veil was fine, the COLOR was COMPLETELY off - and she had a very full veil so it was very noticeable. -
Her gown was probably a 'diamond white' and her veil looked like it was 'bleached Tshirt white' ........So just keep that in mind, maybe bring a small swatch of your gown ?

I think you can choose the headpiece and buy that for your trials before getting the veil.......I know a few girls who have bought really cheap veils to use just for their trials...........Do you have an IDEA of the style veil you want ? You can always pick out the one you like that goes w/ the headpiece, buy the HEADPIECE, and then purchase the veil later on when you have your gown. -
I'm just going to buy a cheap headpiece since they all refuse to give me a hair trial w/o it ! But I don't CARE what the headpiece is - (as long is it's NOT a tiara b/c i just can't pull off the look) I'm more worried about my hairstyle

I 100% agree with this and totally forgot this part in my 1st post. I was too scared of the color of the veil not matching my gown that I ordered my veil from the store I bought my gown at since I tried it on together. Plus I fell in love with a sparkly one there. When I started my hair trials, I did two half up and all up to see what looked better on me and my veil wasn't in yet, but she had an old one there I used just for placement purposes.
