Did anybody use velvelt studios for their wedding and not have Bob and his wife as the photographers? If so who did you have and how did your pics come out? Thanks in advance!!

i booked with velvet, he said he will be doing my wedding... but i have seen photos besides his, and they were wonderful also!!

sorry to crash. bob and his wife are doing our wedding, but Judy did our e pics. I think she was awesome. She made us feel totally at ease and the pics came out beautiful. HTH.

My friend used Velvet for her wedding in July. Bob was there but left early, he only took a couple of pictures. My friend was so happy with the pictures that were taken, have no worries if Bob isnt available. We are using Velvet and also not having Bob take pictures. I dont think it really matters. You can ask to see other photographers work when you meet.

Thank you all for your responses. I just got married on Fri. Bob came to my house for an hour but then had another wedding to go to. I knew that in advance. I spoke to the photographer we were using in advance and I actually loved her on the phone. The day of she was so slow and seemed really overwhelmed. I had a big bridal party but I would think they would be use to that. It wasn't like my BP wasn't listening. We only got three picturs of my BP all together. We would have had only 2 but I asked her for another. She wasn't that easy to work with. I am worried about my pictures now. Our photojournalist was great. However, our main photographer didn't really speak too nice to her. I should have said something the day of considering I was the one paying. I just felt bad b/c I thought she was trying her best. We ended up missing our Cocktail hour and we didn't get any pictures outside and it was a beautiful day. I am so angry and scared that i am not going to have nice pics to document my day

and Iris did the candids/photojournalistic black and whites! as well as some by Jaime, his assistant!!!!
