DId anyone use them for video/photo? I want your honest opinion please if you have to fm me to tell me thats fine. I've been hearing not so good things and im freaking out
It depends on what style your into. My friends used them last year and loved them. They like more traditional so it was exactly what they wanted.
they were in my final 2 but, they are a little traditional for my taste. My opinion is look around donn't rush to book this is one of your most important vendor decisions!
They take really nice pics but they are more traditional. So if thats what you want definetly check them out. If you want more photojournalistic I would say shop around a little more. They do give you A LOT with their package.

dont be upset hunnie! they r good just realy stress to them that you want photojournalism drill it into their head show them examples whatever it takes!

I know this is a little late, but I wanted to let you know that you should NOT worry about booking Velvet. I had similar concerns about them not being photojournalistic enough, but I just got my engagement pictures back, and OMG they are so amazing. I am in Spain right now, so I can't post them, but I'll be home this weekend and I will post. They are so great. A mix of photojournalistic and traditional. I believe they are really starting to get back into the photojournalistic style because Bob brought a PJ photog on our E-shoot and I was sooooo happy with our results. Do not worry at all!!!!!

If you are really concerned check out a diff photog. There are sooooo many out there to chose from and you have time so you will have your pick. Velvet was in my top selection however I wanted more photojournalistic so I went with Duet. Its all in your preference and who you will be comfy with.
