Vendor Help

Hi there,

I need to start looking at vendors. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the following vendors. They are house vendors at my hall:

The Little Flower Shop (Florist)
Unlimited Entertainment (DJ)

Photographers/Videographers:
Patken
The Velvet Studio
The Lavendar Bridal Studio

I have heard wonderful things about Patken. I've narrowed my photographers to 5 & they are on the list.
For DJ's...I have been recommended Body Rock, Tommy Tunes, Get in Tune, & Entertainment Tonight.

WHO KNOWS??? There are all just names to me right now.
Any feedback would also be appreciated!

My friend is using patken, her engagement pics are great...shes spending a lot of money on her package though which I think is insane..im talking over 10,000

I just used Patken for my pics and video. They did such a great job. I highly recommend them!!!!

we loved little flowershop but they were so much money!! they wanted double for what we were getting from burtons- however, they have amazing flowers

Can you neogtiate with Patken?? I've seen some of their work and I know they are used by a lot of brides. I know they are top notch, but I've also heard they could run you $6,000 for a video/photo package. I'm trying to stay within $4,000 -$4,500 for a video/photo combo.

Regardless, I will check them out. Any suggestions on whom to speak with?

Im using Patken....as far as flowers go Burtons gave me the BEST prices/......hopefully the service will equal

If the Little Flower Shop is the one in Lindenhurst, they come HIGHLY recommended to me from a good friend who had them for her wedding. Said they did exactly what she wanted for a reasonable price.

We also used Patken and loved them. We had Steve as the photographer and Evan as the videographer. If you tell them how much you want to spend, they'll work out a package for you. They do not have set packages.

For DJ we used Big Hits Entertainment (www.1800bighits.com) They were great.
