Vendor Help!!

Vendor Help!!

Hi Ladies,

So this week FH and I met with a Photographer and DJ vendor and we were completely blown away by the costs of both vendors.... I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by this process and the costs of everything involved here, and not sure of the next step...

Does anyone have any advice or budget guidelines for how much good Photos and DJ's cost? The only vendor we have done is our florist, which gave us a spectacular deal. I know photography and DJ is so crucial, so I am so afraid to go with a vendor that is not on their A game. I'm so ready to elope!!!

I feel your pain. I was shocked by how much photography costs when I 1st started. I had no idea. Some to check out that I feel have great pries and do awesome work are Fade to Black, Gina Esposito and Benchwerk. I also hear great things about Lighthouse, Thomas Paul and Patken. I know Lighthouse prices are pretty good if your ok with 1 photog. Not sure the prices on the other 2.

I hated when i first found out about prices, i swear it was like they popped my cloud. Dont give up just keep at it, My first photog was almost $7000. I almost died, i kept looking and we have decided on someone. Try Patken and Thomas Paul. Also some of the girls here are loving Gina Esposito.

I am working on DJ now, i was told it should be under $3000 and that is high. so please share what you find. It will work out, and lean on us for decisions too. It will work out!

OMG the 1st photographer we looked at was over 6k!!! Totally burst our bubble too. We were not overly impressed with him, so we are def going to keep looking.

Thanks for the DJ estimate- it's good to know what a rough figure should be for budgeting. Thank you so much for the support- it helps!!!
