Vendor lied?

Vendor lied?

I have a question for you ladies:

If you bought something wedding related from a very well known and respected vendor who told you this item you were purchasing was their 'first creation' and they would give it to you at a discount of $800.00 only to find out it is now being retailed for $100.00 less...would you say something?

I found out when I went back to the vendor to buy more products (because the vendor worked out such a good deal in the first place).

Well nontheless, I bought more items from this vendor ($1600 worth) and I left an $800 deposit...should I say something about my $100.00 rip off when I go pay the other $800?

Is it worth it?

I would totally say something. It's your money.
I would say something the tune of- 'I couldn't help but to be disappointed the other day when I noticed....'.

I would absolutely say something. I once had to get back my deposit from a vendor because we were lied to about prices. After we left a deposit the price increased and we got understandably very upset.

I would definitely say something! You have nothing to lose but your money. IMO, they should have no problem giving you the difference. You've given them a lot of business!

I was sooo shocked when I saw this and it was about a month ago but- as much as I try...I just can't let it go.

This was seriously my favorite vendor and now I feel all slimey about them.

I found out they didn't stand by their word about something else too but, that looked like an honest mistake so...I'm just all around disappointed.

I feel bad saying something because this vendor made it look like I was getting such a 'deal' with other things that I bought.
Saying things like 'Oh I'll give you this free and that at 20% off bla bla bla) yea, shright. I got it free same way I got my $100 'discount'

I would definitely say something just so the vendor knows that this is NOT ok.
