Vendor Overload....

So FH and I are going to Europe for two weeks for his brother's wedding in the beginning of August and wanted to have our DJ and Photographer booked before we left. We're now a week and a half out and haven't met with any of either. We met with our officiant yesterday (Pastor April - cutest little thing ever btw), who I was SUPER excited about and it got me in planning mode. We now have an appointment with After Hours, Bravura, Silverfox, Lighthouse, Capture the Moment, and Jaylim between next Monday and Wednesday! I'm so excited and nervous!


Any other suggestions on DJs or Photographers that we should try and squeeze in there?



Off topic vent: Finding a dress for his brother's wedding has been more difficult than finding my wedding dress! Frustrating!

I am booked with Now till Then DJ, the price was great, Steve is a fabulous guy and I saw him at a showcase and loved them.

I booked with Silverfox but I wish we could've seen Lighthouse too! They just were too far out for us to go to, and since we loved Silverfox we just booked. I think either would be a fantastic choice!

I wanted to meet with Lighthouse bc I really liked what I had seen but I decided against it after speaking to the woman I spoke with on the phone. FH and I have very opposite schedules and only have one day off together (Sunday). Therefore to meet with vendors we either need to go on sundays or one of us needs to take off work another day. I emailed Lighthouse asking if they could provide a rough cost and told them what we were looking for I also asked them a few questions about their experience with Fox Hollow. I received a email from their server saying someone would get back to me. No one did so a few days later I left a voicemail and no one got back to me. then a few days after that I called and spoke with a woman, who told me they didn't get either (which i find strange) that their server doesn't always push through emails (again a little strange) and that they couldn't give me any information even though I explained that I knew they were just rough estimates and we wanted to make sure it was in our price range before taking a day off of work.

We've met with Jaylim and Studio 27 so far and liked them both. We liked Studio 27 a little more but they are alot more $ so we are trying our best to get them to come down a little otherwise we will probably go with Jaylim

Check out Absolute Entertainment in Sayville. A friend of mine used them they did a great job. I am also booked with them they have very reasonable prices, which are all listed on their website too!

We are also booked with Absolute DJ! They have been very nice. Their prices are listed online.....we are booked with Park Avenue in sayville for photo and video. Brian has been amazing to work with. We just got back our engagement photos in under 2 weeks.

We're booked with Lighthouse for photo and will be booking on Friday with Capture the Moment for video! =D The teasers from my engagement shoot are in my album.

We are using Capture the Moment for photo/video and using Top Hat Entertainment for DJ. Good luck with all those appointments!!!!
