Vendor Payments

What are your payment plans with your venders:
Florist
Photography
DJ/Band

Have you ever heard of paying your photographer in full prior to your event? (the album isn't included in my package, so it would be just for their service).

our photo is like 10% deposit.. then 2/3rds payed a month before the wedding, and 1/3rd payed upon proofs pick up

My photo was $3200. $400. saved the date with $600 due by October, $1100 due by January and the balance due when we pick up the proofs.

I have to pay in full the day of the event for my photographer. The Videographer has to be paid in full when I receive the raw footage.

My photo is the same as butterfly. Florist was a deposit and the rest in full I think. As for DJ he wants cash the night of or a check the week before so it clears. I think most of the vendors want cash instead of credit or checks.
