I have an appt with a vendor who I have heard great things about. The only thing is it just him. My concern is what if he gets sick or something comes up that is unforseen...do you think this should be a concern and I should not bother to book because of it?????

Re: Vendor Question
The 'What happens if you get sick?' question was my favorite question to ask of all vendors.
Just ask the vendor directly.

Re: Vendor Question
I think that's definitely a valid concern. When you say it's just him, you mean it's a one man operation? If you decide to book him, I would definitely write into the contract what should happen if he needs to cancel, e.g. 1) you get to pre-approve the replacement photographer and won't unreasonably withhold your consent to such; 2) you will receive a $___ or ___% refund if he cancels, etc. Good luck

Re: Vendor Question
It is with the video...I have heard he does great work, but he is the one who does the video
Those were good things to add to the contract! Thanks

Re: Vendor Question
I think it's a perfectly valid question that should be asked of ALL of your vendors. It's usually in the contract that they will be replaced by someone who is equally qualified. I FMed you back, by the by.
