Vendor Question

Hello Ladies,

Last night I was talking to a friend who got married 5 years ago and we were discussing tipping some vendors.

She said that if I am feeding the DJ/MC and the photographer at the reception, than I don't need to tip them since I have to pay for their meals. Any one know if this is true?

Also, I just assumed that I would have to feed them, Is this not always the case?

I duscussed tips with my DJ company, and they said if its a choice between food or a tip, the guys would rather go hungry!
