I am getting down to the wire now - my wedding is about 6 weeks away!
Anyway, I was wondering when you ladies planned on contacting some of the vendors that you booked awhile ago. For example, I haven't spoken to my DJ or Limo guys in about a year!
Should I even contact them first or should I wait for them to call me?

If they dont contact you first then Id suggest contacting them about 2 weeks before your date. If you have a DOC have her re-confirm the day before and the morning of (thats what mine did)

yes....I am in the same boat. I am probably going to call about 1-2 weeks in advance to say Hi and to finalize the details, make sure they have directions, etc.
I def don't wanna call too far in advance.

I plan on calling the week before. I did call the Limo co to give them the new pick-up address a while ago, but I think a week before is fine.
On the DJ, you might want to call them now. Don't you have to give them your play-list and first dance song?

I received paperwork from my band that I need to fill out and return to them in the next 2 weeks...we will then set up a half hour phone call to go over everything.
I just set up my final meeting with my florist.
As for photographer, hair and makeup vendors - I have been in contact with them via email over the past few months (I always have questions to ask ) but I plan on having my DOC contact them a couple of weeks before the wedding, a week before the wedding and the day of the wedding....
