Vendor Rant

A coworker of mine told me to check out a favor shop on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola called 'Just Invited.'
I drove 45 minutes from my house in Queens with my mom to Long Island. We walk in...start looking around, and a young girl (mid 20's) from behind the counter screams 'can I help you???' So we simply said back 'no, just looking thanks' she rudely goes 'well , we are closing that's why I asked. So can I help you?!' I looked at her and kept my cool and just said 'No, we were just leaving' She then proceeds with 'well don't you want a business card?' I didn't even turn back around and I shouted 'No, I have no intention on ever coming back here' I walked out of the store so annoyed. Mind you it was 3 in the afternoon! It wasn't even like it was 5:00! Oh, I was so mad

call the owners to verify what time they close and explain her rude behavior, if they are good business people they will apologize and maybe offer something to get u back, if they take her side take your business elsewhere

I would call the owner and key them in to what happened. I definitely think you would get a discount if you were interested in that. Otherwise... do just as you said and take your business elsewhere.

That stinks. I would have been soooo angry!

Please dont let that deter you from going back there. I am sure that is not the behavior the owner expects from their staff.
It ***** because this is how one person can turn away potential customers/clients

The girl was extremely rude. There was an older woman standing there while the girl was speaking, someone else could have chimmed in.
I honestly have no intension on ever going back. In my eyes they were rude. I drove all the way there to be in the store for two minutes for a nasty attitude? nope, never again!

i am surprised by this. every time i have been in there, everyone was extremely pleasant. i know that they do have short business hours though. i understand your upsetment at driving all the way over there, but they do have a really good reputation.
