Vendor rant: Now I am p*ssed

booked with Love More Photo to do a Trash the dress and I sent the check in 3 days after they emailed me the contract. I just received an email saying that I took to long and they booked someone else. It was 3 days. Are they kidding me. Now I have to pay 25 to stop payment on my check.

wow that is a horrible way to conduct business! 3 days is not a long time to sign a contract and mail a check.
maybe it was a blessing in disguise...you dont want to do business with a company like that

What!!! That is ridiculous. How do they not give you time to send a check in. That is total BS!

Don't put a stop payment on the check. Ask them to return the check. When you get the check back, write void on it and in your check book then destroy the check. If they don't return the check or refuse to then put a stop payment on it and contact the BBB.

Also I find it hard to believe they can't do more then one photo session a day. Really how long does it take? An hour two at most? There are 8 hours in a normal persons working day. And Im sure these vendors work more then 8 hours.

That's absurd. I would be angry too. Any chance you can do a different date since it's TTD, and use the deposit to avoid the fee?

Lovemore Photo is not a large company like Duet. They are a husband and wife team. There's a lot more to a shoot than showing up and snapping photos. There's preparing your equipment, traveling to locations, brainstorming shoot ideas, shooting, post-production. If they limit themselves to one shoot a day it's to benefit YOU, the customer, and not because they don't feel like working.
