'vendor' rave

i went to the bare escentuals store (sp??) today at roosevelt field. they sell the Bare Minerals make up. i was treated so kindly by all the girls there, i was amazed. (this trip was before my david's trip) i also love the way the make up looks on me and feels...i feel like NOTHING is on my face...except the mascara....my lashes are so long that i can always tell when i have on mascara...anyway, if anyone is interested/curious about bare minerals makeup, go in and they'll do a 'make over' for you. i walked in on a saturday afternoon and no one griped or complained and they were just soooo helpful. the girl even put some stuff on my daughter when she kept asking...i mean the customer service alone is enough to brag about, but i really do like the make up, too. i can't wait for tomorrow so i can try putting it on myself.

I am glad you had a great experience there.

I have used their make-up for several years now. I would never go back to regular liquid foundation. I have a very dry and sensitive skin and this is what works best for me. I never feel like I have to 'fix' my make-up and I don't feel I am wearing any.

And yes, those 'girls' are always so nice.

I agree!! I went to the one in the Roosevelt Field mall and they were awesome. I love the mineral makeup.

OMG! My friend swears by Bare Minerals & her face looks flawless everyday. I think I'm gonna have to go check this stuff out for myself. Thanks!

bare minerals has great products and great selection of colors - was this for a makeup trial for the wedding?

I LOVE BE!!!! It's all I wear! I fell in love with mineral makeup when I had it done for the wedding. Jillian uses Jane Iredale, but I can't afford that

BE is a great alternative!

sort of....i've come to the conclusion that i'll be doing my own for the wedding ($100 a person is just insane...there are 9 of us...yikes) and i have wanted to try this stuff for years...this gave me a great 'excuse' and they show you what to do...my last trial they didn't let me see anything they did and i couldn't come close to the same results.

also, i didn't tell FH about this (he spent the day/night in the city with friends) so after my shower i just sneaked in the bathroom and went to town. he noticed right away and loved it. i need a little more practice, but it looks really good....i didn't use enough product at first, but it's so easy to do. i'll never go back to my 'old' make up either!!

Thanks for this review. I used Bare Minerals for our wedding (which is a great light make up for some one who nevers wears make up) but my shopping experience was horrid - in Manhattan though not Roosevelt Field.
