I went with freezed dried rose petals for throwing at the ceremony and for my flower girl. I ordered them from Fly boy naturals .
I chose these since I could order in advance and make up the ceremony packets before hand. I ordered them last week, which I spoke to a rep over the phone who was very helpful. They arrived today and let me tell you.... they are beautiful. They are packaged well (and you get a free pen !!!) and the fragrance is so pretty. You can order them way in advance as long as you can store them in a cool dark place. They are running a special now too. Just an idea on how to use 1/2 cup to 1 cup for each person for throwing... 4 cups for flower girl basket. They have many other helpful hints on their site in case you want them for your reception tables or aisle. HTH someone =).
