VENDOR RAVE

I have to say I loved Helen's Private Collection to start with when I ordered my dress but now....I cannot begin to express how much I LOVE them!! I ordered my dress last April and then went back and ordered my veil in September. In January I learned that they had a website and on the website they have promotion coupons for all sorts of things. One of the coupons was a free veil with the purchase of a gown of $899 or higher(new orders only). Well I called there and explained that I was unaware of the website and the special offers. I spoke w/Martha who was a doll and very helpful. She told me she just needed to speak with the owner and she would call me back in the morning. I got a call 1st thing the next morning saying they would absolutely honor the free veil and the money I put down as a deposit on the veil I would be refunded. I asked if it could just be applied towards my alterations and they were more than fine with that option. I highly recommend all brides to be check them out. They are located in Commack. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!

Do they have a lot of selections when it comes to veils? I didn't even think to ask them when I went there. What's the price range / material? I need to get one.

They had a nice amount of veils. I didn't have to go searching to find mine. It was the 3rd one I tried on. The range was from in the $100 to well over the $200 range. I am a bit embarassed to admit but I for the life of me do not know what material my veil is. I think it's consider like tulle. It's one layer and goes to right below my elbow and has crystals on it.

I bought my dress there too! I didnt know either! Do you think I should call? It didnt even come in yet

I would absolutely call!! Even if you don't get your veil their is coupon on their website for $100 off your dress.

Thanks I wonder if they won't do it since it was a trunk show price but it's worth a shot

So I called and spoke to Ashley and said she could not honor it. Just curious. Did they match a price for you or did you buy your dress with a trunk show price?

Neither! I bought my dress @ full price, having a custom bolero made and then bought my veil when my dress came in. I'm sorry they didn't honor it. I didn't speak to an Ashley, I spoke with Martha.
