Hi everyone!
We just booked with B rett M atthews, and we are SO EXCITED! We had visited 3 other photographers, and liked each one of them, but none of them had the total package that we were looking for. (I'm pretty picky because I know a lot about photography). I just wanted to put the word out about them, because I'm not sure that people really know what fantastic work they do. I would say their prices are mid-range, and they will custom design a package for you.

Yay!!!!!!! So happy to be feeling at peace about this part of the planning!

So glad to hear your review! After looking at their website, and hearing good things from the girls here, they are definitely at the top of my list to check out!

Do they do videography too?

That's great!! If you haven't seen it yet, check out bethsiar's wedding review. She had TONS of great pictures from B rett M atthews. I believe she used Chris as her main photographer. Good luck!

It's good to hear more great things about them! A friend of mine from work recommended them: they did both of her children's weddings (I know Rob worked on her daughter's and she LOVED him). Maybe I will call them up and request Chris and Rob. Did anyone do an engagement shoot with them yet?

Oh, and as for the videographer question: yes, they do video, but we didn't check them out. That was DEFINITELY out of our price range, and by far the most expensive we've seen in that department. But I'm sure they do beautiful work. Of the video samples we saw, I would recommend Duet. Their prices are very reasonable, and their work seems to be awesome.

We had been considering video, but above all of the other places, their photos really seemed to tell the whole story of their wedding. They guaranteed us 700+ proofs, too. So, now we're fine with putting the money we would have spent on video at a less expensive photography studio towards a photography package there.

i took engagement pics with them too and they came out great. We are using them for video

We're using them for photos and video. We weren't planning on having a video b/c all of the ones we saw before were REALLY cheesy (animation and whatnot), but there videography was fantastic...so we decided to have the video after all.
