Vendor Rave - Florist
This is a little bit long but I love everything about this florist!
Today my mother and I went to our first florist appointment. We decided last minute that we were going to do this and we made an appointment with Gina’s Enchanted Flower Shoppe in Islandia for 11:00. When we pulled up to the shop, there are flowers all outside and the inside is absolutely beautiful and smells so fresh and amazing. We were brought into their consultation room and sat with Gina and went over my ideas and the things that I wanted. We gave her a budget and we talked our way through everything. Gina was such a delight and a pleasure to sit with and talk to. Originally I wanted peonies in everything and everywhere but my budget did not allow for that. Instead of talking us into adding to my budget, Gina gave us options to still get the look that I wanted but for less cost. We started with the most important things like the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. After that, we moved onto the centerpieces and she wowed us again with all of our options and her ideas to be within my budget and still get the look and feel of what I want.
It was such a pleasure to sit with Gina and talk to her about everything, she is such a sweet woman and she shared with us all of her community service she does especially for the fire department. We were with Gina for 2 hours and the time just fly by it did not feel like we were there so long. She even went and got flowers that she had in the shop to show us what everything will look like and what we chose. I cannot wait to see how she pulls everything together! My mom and I left there with such happiness and all anxiety was completely gone. I ended up purchasing some flowers from her as well and Gina gave my mother a simple beautiful arrangement with a card saying “congratulations to the mother of the bride”. How sweet?!?! I am so happy to have this checked off my list of things to do. Tomorrow will be exactly 1 year until we get married and I am so happy to say that we don’t have to worry about the flowers! I am so proud to say that I am a Gina’s Enchanted Flower Shoppe bride!
